WHO WE ARE
ABOUT
OUR STORY
Where It Began
The Fellowship of Christian Physicians began with a simple recognition: physicians need meaningful Christ-centered community.
In a profession marked by responsibility, complexity, and constant demands, a small group of physicians recognized the need for intentional spaces where faith and medicine could be discussed openly through fellowship, encouragement, prayer, and shared experience.
What began as conversations among colleagues has grown into a community of physicians seeking to strengthen one another spiritually, encourage one another personally, and faithfully live out their calling in medicine.

Mission
To support and encourage physicians in integrating Christian faith into the practice of medicine through fellowship, prayer, mentorship, and purposeful community.
Vision
To cultivate a growing community of physicians who are spiritually grounded, professionally strengthened, and committed to serving Christ faithfully through the practice of medicine.

The First Gathering
In March 2025, physicians from across the country gathered during the ACFAS Scientific Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, for the Fellowship of Christian Physicians’ first in-person gathering.
What began as a luncheon quickly became something deeper: a reminder that physicians are not meant to navigate faith and medicine alone.
That gathering helped establish the foundation for a growing community centered on encouragement, fellowship, and shared purpose in Christ.

Looking Ahead
The need for Christ-centered fellowship among physicians continues to grow.
Across specialties, career stages, and geographic regions, physicians are seeking meaningful relationships with others who understand both the demands of medicine and the importance of faith.
The Fellowship of Christian Physicians exists to help cultivate those connections—encouraging physicians to remain grounded in Christ, strengthened in community, and purposeful in their calling.
