THE FCP
ABOUT
Who We Are
The Fellowship of Christian Physicians is a growing community of physicians and surgeons seeking to follow Jesus faithfully in their work and personal lives.
A shared profession brings an understanding of the responsibilities of medicine. A shared faith makes room to talk about what those responsibilities mean—and how Scripture shapes the way physicians care for patients, make decisions, and live beyond their professional roles.
The FCP brings these conversations into fellowship through live virtual sessions and in-person gatherings. Physicians in practice, residents, students, and others in the medical field are welcome.

Mission
To support and encourage physicians in integrating Christian faith into the practice of medicine through fellowship, prayer, mentorship, and purposeful community.
Vision
To cultivate a growing community of physicians who are spiritually grounded, professionally strengthened, and committed to serving Christ faithfully through the practice of medicine.

First FCP Gathering
The Fellowship of Christian Physicians held its first in-person gathering in March 2025, bringing foot and ankle surgeons from across the country together for a luncheon during an Annual Scientific Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
Surgeons who knew one another as colleagues discovered a shared faith in Christ. The luncheon gave them room to talk beyond their work—to acknowledge the depression, isolation, and burnout that can go unspoken, and to consider what their identity in Christ means for their lives and calling in medicine.
The FCP grew from that need for Christian fellowship—physicians and surgeons turning to Scripture, praying for one another, and learning to live out their calling with faith and integrity.

Looking Ahead
The need for Christ-centered fellowship among physicians continues to grow. Across specialties, career stages, and geographic regions, physicians are seeking meaningful relationships with others who understand both the demands of medicine and the importance of faith.
The Fellowship of Christian Physicians exists to help cultivate those connections—encouraging physicians to remain grounded in Christ, strengthened in community, and purposeful in their calling.

The responsibilities of medicine can leave little room to consider questions of identity, purpose, and faith. The FCP’s live sessions with pastors and guest speakers offer time to examine these questions through Scripture and honest conversation.
